Joe is responsible for all aspects of the company’s marketing strategy, product management, optimization, media relations, and innovation efforts. He joined Allianz Partners in 2014 as the Chief Marketing Officer of the U.S. business and was named to his global position in 2017, including an active international assignment overseeing the company’s expansion efforts in Europe.
During his time at Allianz Partners, Joe and his team have led the transformation of the travel line of business from one of basic travel insurance to one of more robust, end-to-end travel protection. By delivering products and services that provide a greater sense of safety, security, and well-being, the company has benefited from strong revenue and customer growth, while also receiving consistent industry acclaim, including 4 consecutive Travel Weekly Readers Choice awards for best insurance provider.
Prior to joining Allianz Partners, Joe spent nearly 20 years in the financial services industry where he held senior leadership positions across marketing, strategy, and analytics for Capital One Financial Corporation and Intersections Inc. During these tenures, Joe was instrumental in driving a customer-first culture and introducing a host of innovations, including being awarded patents for life stage marketing and social networking, along with several design patents.
Joe holds a master’s degree in business administration from the College of William & Mary and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Virginia. He currently resides in Paris, France with his wife and two children.
