Jim O’Connor was brought on in 2019 as Head of Operations for the Allianz Partners’ US headquarters in Richmond, VA. He is responsible for the strategic planning and tactical execution of Operations initiatives that support business objectives. With over 20 years of experience in his field, he has led call centers, product innovations teams, and project management teams—all while investing in associate development to help them pursue career goals.

Jim is passionate about delivering quality experiences for associates and customers, and excels at developing highly engaged teams that drive results. He believes when you solve problems for customers, and work backwards from their needs to design processes and services, simplification follows. Before Allianz Partners, he worked in the financial industry, where he redesigned complex processes to reduce complexity, cycle times and costs.

Jim has a Bachelor’s in English from Virginia Commonwealth University.
