Jet Edge Introduces Private Aviation Travel Insurance in New Partnership with Allianz Partners

Jet Edge Redefines Best-in-Industry Offerings with New Travel Insurance Programs via Leading Travel Insurance Supplier, Helping to Protect Travel Investments Ahead of the Holiday Travel Season

LOS ANGELES, CA, December 9, 2020 — Jet Edge, the global leader in full-service private aviation, is proud to announce their new partnership that offers charter clients travel insurance* via one of the world’s largest travel insurance providers, Allianz Partners. The new Allianz Partners program for Jet Edge is a timely offering as the busy holiday travel season commences. Now available, Jet Edge is offering Allianz Travel Insurance for charter travelers as part of the company’s client-focused approach to providing the best in holiday travel.

“At Jet Edge, our business has succeeded through a focus on always putting our customers first,” comments Gary Waldman, Chief Business Development Officer at Jet Edge. “We are proud to partner with Allianz Partners to offer a travel insurance program for our charter services that allows Jet Edge clients to protect their travel investment anywhere they fly, during the holidays and beyond.”

This program marks one of Allianz Partners’ first strategic partnerships with a private aviation operator, enabling Jet Edge to offer travel insurance products that reimburse losses for covered trip cancellations or interruptions, as well as medical emergencies.  Allianz Partners is also temporarily accommodating claims for otherwise covered losses for cancellations, interruptions, or medical emergencies should an insured client become ill with COVID-19**, either before or during their trip. Allianz Travel Insurance is valid for destinations worldwide and offers additional peace of mind as many passengers prepare to spend the holidays in destinations throughout North America, including the Caribbean, Cabo San Lucas, Montana, Jackson Hole, and Aspen.

Allianz Travel Insurance customers also have access to its award-winning TravelSmart mobile app, which provides on-the-go policy information, the ability to file claims from a smart phone and reach Allianz’s travel assistance team with a single click.

Separately, Jet Edge has put into place industry leading COVID-19 health and safety protocols in partnership with Redline Assured Security. In addition to Jet Edge’s
extensive Health and Safety protocol, the company is committed to testing crew members regularly for COVID-19 and has also developed rapid testing partnerships for client convenience in preparation for travel to popular destinations such as the newly-reopened Hawaii.
